Who We Are . . .
Contryman Wealth Advisors was founded in 1997 as a subsidiary of the public accounting firm, Contryman Associates, P.C. In interviews and discussions, we learned that our clients wanted a different option for financial services where all areas of their financial plan could be considered before investments were determined. They wanted us to not only work with them to develop their financial plans, but to be able to implement their strategies so they were not double-charged and to eliminate the possible disconnect between our financial planning advice and implementation by an outside firm.
Contryman team members are talented, ambitious professionals who strive to provide our clients with the level of service they deserve but may not have been receiving. We understand that personal success and success for our clients are inseparable.
Our vision is to be recognized as the financial planning firm against which all other firms are measured. Our team members are committed to making this vision a reality.
Education and Development
Less experienced team members work closely with and under the supervision of our seasoned professionals. Through formal and informal mentoring processes, team members learn important lessons about our profession while being challenged to continually become more self-reliant.
We strongly encourage and support our team members' active participation in professional and civic organizations. We want to serve, sustain, and improve our communities as well as our firm. Our team members serve on various professional, civic, and charitable boards and enjoy the benefits of networking with others and "giving back" to their communities.
