Advanced Livestock Tracker is based on the day-to-day operation of your feedlot, tracking feeding, treatment, and performance so you have the information you need to run a successful operation. The software provides answers to cattle owners’ questions, and helps you direct feedlot personnel in their activities. It also helps you determine the optimum time to buy or sell cattle for your lot and helps you determine actual profit or loss on each pen.

The software allows you to enter up to 30 different rations and to make adjustments to the rations as often as needed or as recommended by your nutritionist. The program interfaces with popular veterinarian medical programs so information is entered only once.

Your cattle owners will appreciate the accurate, easy to read bills and you will appreciate closeouts that are simple to produce and give all the performance information you need. Closeouts are archived on the system for long-term analysis.

Our Bunk Reader program integrates directly with the Livestock Tracker program. The program accurately calculates the rations to be loaded on feed trucks. The use of this program will assist in maintaining the maximum feed intake of each pen and helps to avoid ups and downs in a pen’s daily feed for maximum gains. Advanced Livestock Tracker also interfaces with most bunk readers from other companies.

The Custom Report Module gives you added flexibility to generate reports that are configured best for your needs or generate customer reports that are easier to read. You can also use this module to run scenarios and projections by entering different variables. The Outside Cattle Module allows you to track cattle on feed at another lot. The Commodity Posting Module tracks feed pricing and purchases from outside sources.

Advanced Livestock Tracker personnel can, as an option, provide onsite installation and training so you will be prepared to use the software as soon as it is on your system. We also provide phone, fax, and e-mail support, and through a remote assist software, our professionals can securely access your computer system at your request, giving us a better understanding of any problems you may be having and correcting most problems via modem and/or the internet.

Case Example:
A family owned cattle feedlot operation changed to Advanced Livestock Tracker from a program they had been using for several years. At their lot, they typically custom feed 7,500 head for other owners and between 1,000 and 1,500 of their own cattle. They are pleased that now their custom feeders do not have as many questions about the bills they receive or about the closeout reports on their pens’ performance, both generated from the Advanced Livestock Tracker software. Because the billing process is so much simpler, they are now billing two times each month which has helped the feedlot’s cash flow. Their medication inventory is up-to-date and they know that medications are being tracked in the program and billed out accurately.
