Mark Hemje has joined Contryman Associates, P.C. as an accountant in their Audit Department. In this role he works with other members of the department to prepare financial statement compilations, reviews, and audits.

Originally from Hastings, Hemje received his BA in Professional Accounting from Hastings College. Mark also completed additional coursework at Hastings College to fulfill the 150-hour requirement allowing him to sit for the CPA examination.

Prior to joining the firm, Hemje worked as an Audit Accountant in Lincoln, Nebraska for 2 years. He has completed an accounting internship with a fabrication company, as well as a tax internship for Contryman Associates. He is a former member of both Alpha Chi Academic Honorary Fraternity and Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Society, both at Hastings College. His parents are Dave Hemje and Deb Larson, both from Hastings.
