Mark Hemje, an Audit Accountant with Contryman Associates, P.C., has received his certificate and license to practice as a Certified Public Accountant from the Nebraska Board of Public Accountancy.

As a Certified Public Accountant, Hemje has proven his competency in the areas of auditing and attestation, regulation, business environment and financial accounting and reporting. He has completed the educational requirements, two years experience in public accounting and passed the examination. As a Certified Public Accountant, hours of Continuing Professional Education are required each year to renew his license.

Originally from Hastings, Hemje received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Accounting from Hastings College. Prior to joining the firm, Hemje worked as an Audit Accountant in Lincoln, Nebraska for 2 years.
