Kayla Backer has joined Contryman Associates, P.C. as an Administrative Accountant. In this role she works with all departments to prepare accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll preparation and coordination of health insurance, 401(k) and other benefits. She is currently preparing to take the CPA examination.

Originally from Grand Island, Backer received her bachelor’s of science degree in Professional Accounting from Hastings College in 2009. She completed an internship for Cooperate Producers Inc., where she was responsible for assisting the CFO in completing day-to-day tasks. Her parents are Tom and Jody Backer from Grand Island.
